Made Right

Sometimes I laugh out loud when I think about myself before I knew Jesus. I have been transformed in so many beautiful ways. God is making me right with Him by the power of His Spirit. I still have a long way to go, but I get excited with every step closer to God. Each day of my life, I have more to learn about how I can grow in Christ. Before, I was so consumed by my selfish desires and personal gain. Now, I am made right by the justification of Jesus! 

LISTEN

I sent my only Son so that you could be made right with me. My Spirit dwells with you! You are being sanctified so that you can come closer to me, and look more like my perfect image. Be patient with my pace, because I am making you right with my own time. There is no need to rush along this process, I am delighted with who you are. I love seeing you learn and grow in your faith. I am so proud that you are continuously letting me change you on the inside, so that you can walk by my Spirit! You have been made right by your faith in me.

Romans 8:9-11 ESV: “You, however, are not in the flesh but in the Spirit, if in fact the Spirit of God dwells in you. Anyone who does not have the Spirit of Christ does not belong to him. But if Christ is in you, although the body is dead because of sin, the Spirit is life because of righteousness. If the Spirit of him who raised Jesus from the dead dwells in you, he who raised Christ Jesus from the dead will also give life to your mortal bodies through his Spirit who dwells in you.”

Ephesians 2:8-9 ESV:  “For by grace you have been saved through faith. And this is not your own doing; it is the gift of God, not a result of works, so that no one may boast.”
