Connected

I have access to pray to my Father, and confidence to believe He hears me. Even more, I have been given access to the mind of Christ by the power of His Spirit. That is unbelievable! The Holy Spirit works in me with discernment so my heart can be connected to His. I have conviction, understanding, and insight. These are not skills that I can develop on my own, but a wonderful act of God! I am truly connected to God because I have Holy Spirit leading me.

LISTEN

I want you to trust me when you sense my leading. If you study and understand my Word, then you have every reason to act when you feel me tugging at your heart. You are connected to me, and I have given you the mind of my Son. I ask that you quiet yourself sometimes, and listen to how my Spirit may be leading you. In all times and all situations remember to abide in me. If you abide in my love, then you will bear the fruits of my Spirit.

John 15:1-5 ESV: “I am the true vine, and my Father is the vinedresser. Every branch in me that does not bear fruit he takes away, and every branch that does bear fruit he prunes, that it may bear more fruit.  Already you are clean because of the word that I have spoken to you. Abide in me, and I in you. As the branch cannot bear fruit by itself, unless it abides in the vine, neither can you, unless you abide in me. I am the vine; you are the branches. Whoever abides in me and I in him, he it is that bears much fruit, for apart from me you can do nothing.”
